Service Desk Analyst - Lancashire

£21k rising to £23k over 24 months - Technical Support

You’ll be joining a service desk team based in Chorley with modern open plan offices and the opportunity to work from home every Friday.  You'll provide support to a UK wide client base. You’ll deal with around 15 to 25 calls per day where your customer care skills will be the foundation of the customer experience.  Throughout your time on the Service Desk, you will naturally be upskilled over time to give you the ability and knowledge to further expand on your skills, growing your technical ability by full use of their knowledge systems whilst engaging with existing staff who will offer their support. 

The role provides a great opportunity for career progression for those who have the ambition and drive, moving from a Tier 1 to Tier 2 position within 18 months service or other positions within the wider business.  

 Is this you?

  • You’re friendly and confident with an excellent telephone manner, keep calm under pressure and want to learn new skills
  • You already have customer service experience, probably in a phone based role, and an inherent belief in delivering superb customer service and a great customer experience every time.
  • You want to establish and grow your career in customer service and technical support
  • You love IT and technology and have a great understanding of tech. You might be the go to person for friends and family assisting with all their technical issues!  IT is not just a job for you - it's a passion!
  • You’ve probably studied IT at school, college or University and may have a CompTIA certificate or similar. You definitely want to work in IT and are looking to progress on the career ladder with a company that will train and develop you, giving you a path into more technical roles
